The staining and sealing is done by a six step method and the materials are sealed with a marine grade varnish with UVA inhibitors designed to retard the destruction caused by the sun. There are three finishes to choose from; satin (a matte finish), semi-gloss, ( a little shine) and high gloss (high sheen).
